Maid of Honour
Hi everyone, my name is Ayo! My first memory with Abimbola takes us back to freshers week September 2014, I got a knock on my door and standing there was Abi! Unbeknownst to us, that was the start of our lifelong friendship. My Twin! From living in the same uni building, to being my gym partner. There’s so much we’ve shared together. Including our initials! But nothing will bring me greater joy seeing her change her name from AE to AC! We’re going laugh, we’re going to cry, and we’re gonna dance the night away! #CoolerthanAC

Hi everyone, I'm Natasha. Me and Abimbola met in year 7 at secondary school. We were in the same form class and due to our surnames being close in the alphabet seating plans meant we always sat near each other - naturally we began speaking and spending time together. However, it wasn’t until year 9 that we became extremely close and quite literally did everything together. We were stuck like glue then and 15 years later and not much has changed. I’ve also known Chim since secondary school, and it’s so beautiful to see how God has divinely orchestrated their paths to reconnect and be on this journey to marriage together. I am honoured to be seeing my friends enter this new, beautiful stage of their life and I’m hoping I can keep it together on the day and not cry all my makeup off 🤞🏾love you both so much xxx

Hey I'm Kaobi! I can’t remember the first day I met Abimbola but we were in the same form class throughout secondary school. It’s always been laughter from that point, however I’d say it was going to university and living together for 5 years that really drew us closer. If you’re to ask me my favourite memory of us? All I hear is our laughter ringing through my head because we laugh hard pretty much every day. What I can say I’ve enjoyed in our friendship is watching her grow and be moulded into the amazing woman she is today. I’ve also enjoyed watching her create multiple communities where people can come together to thrive in Christ, from clueless university students to (a bit less clueless) adults. I look forward to watching my good friend and a good man come together with God as they begin a beautiful journey of marriage. Also look forward to the laughter, the food and the loooooks!

I’ve known Abi since secondary school in 2007, right around the time when coloured skinny jeans from Risky and Primark dolly shoes were the craze 😂. In our adult life our ladies fellowship community is what brought us much closer together #WeLoveJesus. Honestly I’m most excited about Abi & Chim actually getting married. Speaking to Chim in the months leading up to the proposal and through my chats with Abi, I just can’t wait to see these two take on life together. The wedding will be lit too duhhhh 🤪

How I first met Abi is a funny story. She didn’t have many friends at church and one day we were introduced by someone and it had been like we knew each other for years. We became besties and the rest was history. We’ve been through it all together. 16 years later I now have a sister for life. I’m excited to see Abimbola become Mrs. Chabala, to see a love so pure it could only have been God that ordained it.

I've had the pleasure of having Bimbola as my older sister for the past 23 years and what a blessing it has been! When I think of my fav memories with Bimbola I always go back to when we used to share a room and all the times I would try to listen in on her conversations and steal her clothes to wear to own clothes day at school. All of us under one roof will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I'm so grateful to God that I got to experience it. I cannot wait for the best event of the entire year! To watch the first of my sisters marry the person she loves will be such a surreal experience and one I'm counting down the days for.

My first encounter with Abi was on the 468 bus first week of secondary school, I don’t recall actually seeing her at school during that week but I remember how bold she was to ask for some of my skittles on the bus. I honestly don’t know why I was on that particular bus because it didn’t take me straight home according to my parents instructions but I guess everything happens for a reason because 13 years laters we're still good friends lol. I don’t have just one favourite memory with Abi, every time we’re together is filled with so much laughter as in actual tears, joy & support. One thing I’m excited about regarding the wedding is supporting Abi on this journey of becoming a wife and dance dance dance.
Best Man
Wow, we’re here. Its a beautiful thing seeing two become one. Seeing the journey of Chim and Abi has been inspiring. Obviously Chim has been my brother for as long as I can remember and seeing the growth in him throughout this relationship has been amazing because we were definitely some knuckleheads (Abi, thank you for entering his life). God brought this together and God will keep it together. To Chim and Abi, I salute you and wish you the very best❤️❤️❤️

Congratulations Abi and Chim! It’s been a privilege to see my big brother grow into the great man he is today. Thank you Abi for being a huge part of that journey. I’m honoured to be a part of this special chapter in your lives, and I wish you both all the happiness as you continue your journey to the wedding day and beyond.

Chim, you’ve been my brother for so long. I can’t imagine any part of life without you. From English class when we didn’t get allowed into top set because we’d distract everyone. So many memories we’ve shared. I still remember what you said on the bus 12, heading to Ricky’s. Look at us now! Wishing you both a wholesome, healthy, loving marriage. A marriage that allows you both to always work together as a team to achieve everything you intend and God permits. It’s been incredible to witness from the very start. Chairman…It’s safe to say this was meant to be! A truly unbraekable bond. Go forth! God bless your union. I look forward to all the future holds and will be here to support you every step of the way.

Abi and Chims story is proof God is working through them. I am so blessed to have met them and been witness to their testimony. When I first met Chim over a decade ago it's amazing the man he's turned out to become. He's journey and wisdom gives me no doubts he will lead Abi and their home through Gods eyes. Abi has a mothering heart and is a someone who treats people like she's known them for eternity. I wish nothing but the God blessings for this union ❤️💕

I am grateful that you have chosen me to be apart of this journey. Being able to witness the love you and Abi share brings me so much joy. The two of you are the epitome of love. I pray your love continues to grow and is everlasting. Here is to a lifetime of endless love and laughter.

Where do I start! I’ve known Chim since knee-high (literally)! Watching my boy grow to a man, I can honestly say I’ve been through it all with him and seen him overcome and accomplish a great deal. Finding Abi definitely tops the chart. The bible says ‘He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favour from the LORD’ and Abi has proven to be such a blessing in bros life. I would love to take this opportunity to bless your special union. May it bring you unimaginable blessings and unbelievable joy. I’m honoured to be a part of this exciting journey and truly love you both ❤️🙏🏾💍
